Bachendri Pal became the first Indian woman to successfully climb Mount Everest on May 14, 2019.
Pal, who is an Adventure Consultant and a mountaineer, summited the world's highest mountain via the south side route after being part of a 10-member team that reached the summit.
This is only the second time that an Indian woman has summited Everest - the first was in 1996.
Bachendri Pal, an Indian climber, became the first person of Indian origin to climb Mount Everest.
The 41-year-old accomplished the feat in May, six months after making history by becoming the first Indian woman to summite Mount Everest.
Pal's ascent came three months after British mountaineer David Sharp became the first person to reach the summit from the south face route.
